TT-East 2010 • Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville, NC • July 27-31, 2010

TT-East is the largest and longest running North American Audi TT owner's and enthusiast's event held in the Eastern half of the United States.

TT-East 2010 is being held from Tuesday July 27 to Saturday July 31, 2010 as a tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway starting from Lynchburg, Virginia and concluding in Asheville, North Carolina. Some of the activities along the way will include a stop at Château Morrisette Winery for lunch, a one night stay in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, a visit to the top of Mount Mitchell, optional tour of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, optional hike of Chimney Rock Park, a drive to the Tail of the Dragon and much more.

TT-East 2010 Event Highlights

Below are just a few of the activities and adventures being planned for TT-East 2010!*

Meet at the Start of the Blue Ridge Parkway
Full week attendees will meet early afternoon near Waynesboro, Virginia to start the journey along the Blue Ridge Parkway and conclude the day in Lynchburg, Virginia to check into the Wingate by Wyndham hotel. After a brief sign-in session at the hotel, a group dinner will be held at WaterStone Pizza in downtown Lynchburg.

Drive from Lynchburg to Blowing Rock, North Carolina
After an early morning check-out from the hotel, this day will offer a casual driving tour from Lynchburg to Blowing Rock, North Carolina along the Blue Ridge Parkway with a stop at the Château Morrisette Winery near Floyd, Virginia for a group lunch. After continuing along the Blue Ridge Parkway, we will conclude the day in Blowing Rock, North Carolina to check into the Inn at Crestwood and then end the day with a group dinner.

Drive from Blowing Rock to Asheville, North Carolina
Departing from Blowing Rock, we continue our journey along the Blue Ridge Parkway, but not before spending time for photo opportunities and to play on the twisties below Grandfather Mountain. We then will make an extended stop at the top of Mount Mitchell and then have lunch at the Mount Mitchell Restaurant. We conclude with a drive to Asheville and to check into the Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort Asheville. That evening there will be a sign-session at the hotel followed by a welcoming reception.

Day Tours of Asheville and Surrounding Area
This day will offer sightseeing in the Asheville area, a tour of the Biltmore Estate, golfing or tennis at the Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort or other optional actvities. Some of the optional activities will include an Asheville Urban Trail Walking Tour, drive to and hiking tour of Chimney Rock Park, drive to and hiking/picnicking at Craggy Gardens, or a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to include a visit to the Wheels Through Time Museum.

Drive to Tail of the Dragon!
On the final day of the event, we will drive from Asheville to the Tail of the Dragon to play on the incredible 318 turns in 11 miles! There will be several drive options back to Asheville offered and for the more adventurous, one including an option for an extended stop at Tsali Recreation Area for some fast singletrack mountain biking. That evening we will hold our closing event dinner and raffle!
